RAM 2500

$172,950 - $175,950* MRLP

The Ram 2500 Heavy Duty is the most powerful and capable pick-up in its segment, with a maximum towing capacity as high as eight tonnes. The heavy lifting is taken care of by a 6.7-litre Cummins inline six-cylinder engine, with over 1100Nm of torque on tap, contrasted by a business class cabin.

They're the biggest, baddest American utes in Australia, so we're throwing them against each other to see which is the real King of the Road.

Towing with the 2017 Ram Laramie 2500
Culture | 17 Jun 2017
These days, it's not uncommon to see dual-cab utes towing all manner of large trailers. Horse floats, cars and boats are common as flies in some parts of this great land of ours. This is their bread and butter, but with all that weight, you have to wonder how the engine copes long term and that's precisely where the American tank-like 2017 Ram Laramie 2500 comes into its own.

2016 RAM 2500 Laramie (4x4) Review
Owner Review | 18 Nov 2016
Had the ram 2 months and I love it . The pluses are power for towing is awesome I tow 4 ton boat and it doesn't feel it . The all coil suspension is stiff enough to stop sag in the rear when towing but still soft enough to give a good ride around town . My truck was converted by Walkingshaw special vehicles and it's a good conversion . The fuel door doesn't lock and you have two plastic plugs as fuel cap pretty pathetic . You can buy after market lockable doors but you shouldn't have to with that sort of price tag . I had a F-250 7.3 power stroke chipped I was happy with the way it towed until I drove the Ram fantastic hauler and tourer . The use ability in the back with fold up seats and then lay down flooring is a handy set up for fridges or storing anything else that needs a flat base to sit on . Stereo is awesome the connectivity from your IPhone is great it u connects as soon as you enter the vehicle and you can access Voice recognition and request music Phone calls iMessages all with out taking your eyes off the road . The built in mapping in the Walkingshaw trucks is Australia NZ comparable and is easy to use . All round the cabin set up and the drivers functions are well layer out . Once I've fitted a long range tank for the touring we do over here in the west iam set and iam definetly a big Dodge Fan.
