Maserati Ghibli, Quattroporte, Levante Nerissimo Editions unveiled
Looking mean in black, not confirmed for Australia
Maserati has unveiled special Nerissimo Edition versions of the Levante, Ghibli and Quattroporte in Geneva, adding a heavy-handed splash of black to the Italian marque's lineup.
The "total black" cars are finished in a special shade of deep black body paint, complete with Black Chrome trim on the grille surrounds, badge, boot-lid and C-pillar badging.
A different black finish has been used for the grille bars, door handles, exhaust tips and window trim.
Specifications of the Nerissimo Edition varies based on model. The Ghibli and Quattroporte ride on 20-inch Urano or 21-inch Titano alloy wheels, both finished in gloss black. Both sedans also gain dark LED headlight surrounds too.
Inside, the Ghibli gains heated front and rear sports seats, a heated steering wheel and 'Dark Mirror' dashboard trim – although there are two other (dark) trim choices on offer. You'll pay more for tinted windows and a powered sun blind, unfortunately.
Meanwhile, the Quattroporte comes with tinted rear windows and a rear-view camera, along with a power boot lid and keyless access through all four doors as standard kit, while the cabin can be trimmed in Black Piano or carbon.
The Levante (above) runs with black fog-light surrounds, and gains front- and rear underbody protection. Buyers have a choice of three wheel designs: two 20-inch options and one 21-inch, all finished in black. It also gains heated seats, four-zone climate control, powered pedal adjustment and keyless entry.
Australia
Ateco Automotive, local importer for Maserati, says it's looking at the special-edition Levante, Ghibli and Quattroporte's "application for Australia" at the moment. We'll update you once a decision is made.
