2022 Nissan Navara Pro-4X, Warrior gain electric heated seats, prices up $600
Heated seats and a power driver's seat are now standard in the Nissan Navara Pro-4X and Pro-4X Warrior, albeit for an extra $600.
The flagship 2022 Nissan Navara Pro-4X and Pro-4X Warrior variants have been updated for the new model year with additional features – though prices have risen by $600.
The Navara Pro-4X and Pro-4X Warrior have gained heated front seats for Model Year 2022, with electric seat adjustment and lumbar support on the driver's side – all not previously offered by Nissan Australia, either as standard or optional.
Despite forming part of a $1500 option pack for the more affordable ST-X (with leather seats), prices of the Navara Pro-4X and Navara Pro-4X Warrior grades have 'only' increased by $600, to $58,730 plus on-road costs for a Pro-4X manual.
The flagship Nissan Navara Pro-4X Warrior automatic's RRP now crests $70,000 for the first time, at $70,590 plus on-road costs. A Warrior manual is now $68,090 plus on-road costs (up from $67,490), while a Pro-4X automatic is $61,230 (up from $60,630).
While power seat adjustment and electric seat adjustment is now available on the top-shelf Pro-4X Navaras, the ST-X's optional sunroof – available a further $1000, on top of its $1500 heated electric leather seat pack – is still not available on the standard Pro-4X and Warrior.
No changes have been made under the bonnet – or anywhere else on the vehicles – of the Nissan Navara Pro-4X Warrior, where a 140kW/450Nm 2.3-litre twin-turbo four-cylinder diesel is retained, with six-speed manual or automatic transmissions and part-time four-wheel drive.
The Model Year 2022 Nissan Navara Pro-4X and Pro-4X Warrior are due in Australian showrooms this August.
The Nissan Navara range will expand later this year with a new SL Warrior model, with fewer features than the Pro-4X Warrior – but the same off-road capability – for buyers looking to spend less.
It will also help sidestep production delays caused by the ongoing semiconductor shortage, ensuring improved supply of Warrior-badged models as wait times for the Pro-4X-based flagship hover around three months.
