2020 Kia Sorento Black Edition revealed
Along with yesterday's Stinger Carbon Edition, Kia Australia has announced the limited-run Black Edition Sorento.
Kia Australia has revealed the Sorento Black Edition, with unique equipment and a choice of petrol or diesel power.
Priced between the range-topping GT-Line and the Sorento SLi, the Black Edition will be offered with a choice of all-wheel drive diesel ($52,490 drive-away) and front-wheel drive petrol ($48,990 drive-away) drivetrains.
The former is a 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel making 147kW and 441Nm, the latter is a 3.5-litre naturally-aspirated V6 making 206kW and 336Nm.
Compared to the Sport, the Black Edition gains a set of 19-inch alloy wheels, a gloss black grille, black roof racks, shadow chrome door trim, and black side mirrors.
It also gets 'Ice Cube' LED fog-lights, skid plates finished in (you guessed it) black, a panoramic sunroof, and privacy glass. Four exterior colours are available: Clear White, Silky Silver, Aurora Black, and Snow White Pearl.
Like the Sport, the Black Edition will get equipment like leather-trimmed seats, autonomous emergency braking, and lane-keeping assist, along with an 8.0-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
