The truth about those luxury cars on ‘Selling Sunset’

If you've ever watched Selling Sunset on Netflix, you'll know the glamorous real estate agents on the show are always dressed to the nines, with six-inch heels and six-figure salaries to match. But have you noticed their cars?

The ladies of the Oppenheim Group regularly arrive at broker's opens, showings and office meetings in luxury SUVs and sedans that have been heavily customised, with price tags that would make your eyes water.

Even more eye-watering is the fact that, for some of the show's stars, the cars aren't just rented rides but daily drivers.

With the recent premiere of Selling Sunset season six, here's what we uncovered about the extravagant rides of the show's stars.

Yes, for the most part. At the very least, they lease them. Most of the Selling Sunset cast drive the same car both on-screen and off, and have done for several years.

For example, Chrishell Stause has been driving the same white Porsche Macan since at least 2020, while the yellow Lamborghini Urus owned by former star Christine Quinn featured so prominently on previous seasons that it became an honorary cast member.

Meanwhile, Heather Rae Young was rumoured to be leasing a Lexus SUV before switching to the Ferrari Portofino she received as a gift from her husband, Tarek El Moussa.

Some of the other cast members – like new addition Bre – drive cars owned by their partners, while other agents drive cars given to them as part of a promotional partnership or brand deal, like Mary Fitzgerald, who is an ambassador for Alfa Romeo.

The car actually belongs to Bre's partner and co-parent, comedian Nick Cannon, who customised the luxury SUV with a wide-body kit and 24-inch Savini wheels.

Bre also drives a black Lamborghini Urus with neon green accents – a recent birthday gift from Cannon.

Finally, Bre has also driven a Lamborghini Gallardo while filming scenes for the show's sixth season.

Chrishell Stause drives one of the less ostentatious cars in the Selling Sunset garage, choosing a white, base-spec Porsche Macan.

The Macan features heavily in the trailer for the sixth season and Stause has owned the car since at least 2020.

In Selling Sunset season six, Chelsea is seen driving a bright blue Mercedes-Benz G-Class, or G-Wagen.

The car is easy to spot as it wears Mercedes' special Manufaktur paint shade of China Blue.

It's unclear whether Chelsea owns the car, or whether it was simply used for filming, although it does feature on her Instagram page in posts dating back to May 2022.

Heather owns a Ferrari Portofino – a generous birthday gift from her husband, Tarek El Moussa, in 2019.

The pair also share a white Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen, which Heather can be seen driving in Selling Sunset season six. The real estate agent has playfully called it her "mum car" on social media.

Previously, Mary Fitzgerald owned a Maserati Granturismo, but recently switched to a black Porsche Cayenne Coupe.

She is also an ambassador for Alfa Romeo and is regularly spotted driving the brand's Stelvio SUV.
