2022 Mazda 3 Astina: owner review
The technology is far better than most Japanese cars, so I'm happy about that, especially equipped with the Bose stereo system that sounds awesome as I expected!

I've had a Mazda 6 2.2-litre diesel, and it was by far the most economical, powerful and pleasant car to drive and own.
I decided to stay loyal but downgraded to the Mazda 3 Astina with a 2.2-litre naturally aspirated engine, and the first thing I noticed was that it wasn't anywhere near like the Mazda 6. I assumed it wouldn't be as economical as it runs on unleaded, but even then this car drinks a fair bit of fuel, especially when driving around the city.
You can hear noise inside the cabin and tyre wheel noise, but generally it's quieter.
The technology is far better than most Japanese cars, so I'm happy about that, especially equipped with the Bose stereo system that sounds awesome as I expected! No surprises there.
So far I haven't done any major drives, but it's been an exciting car to own and drive. Even better once she's clean as her Soul Red paint is absolutely gorgeous.
If there was one thing I would have loved, it would be if we were allowed to have the turbo here like in the USA or even Canada, because that would be something really special.
